Darkwave and WHUP listeners, please consider participating in the annual WHUP spring fundraiser. Raising funds via donations is essential to WHUP’s capacity, as a truly independent radio-station, to keep up with costs such as rent or production equipment. This spring, the WHUP fundraiser has a special significance due to the ongoing pandemic crisis: half of the procceds WHUP raises through the fundraiser will be used to support Hillsborough service industry workers who have been most hurt by the shutdown. This reflects the special character of WHUP as a community radio station which cares about the people for and by whom it is run.
