Darkwaves is back in action for an episode honoring the recent 50th death anniversary of the great Japanese artist and activist Yukio Mishima. Mishima died in a heroic act of ritual suicide, committing Seppuku on November 25 1970 as a final protest against the Westernization ( = Disneyfication) of the Japanese soul. We will remember him on Dec. 3, 11pm-12am at WHUP (https://whupfm.org/show/darkwaves/) with music by David Bowie, Death in June, Killing Joke, and others.
